Nice breakfast, Host helpful, near to Borders Rail Station straight line into Edinburgh.

We were very cold in the bedroom and asked if we could turn on the radiator, instead we were given a portable electric heater and told that there were electric blankets on the beds. At no time did the radiators in the room or the bathroom , (which was huge and also very cold ) come on. Thank goodness for the electric blanket !!

The room, the host, tasty breakfast and the location. Melrose is a beautiful town with many restaurants and quaint shops for food and gifts.

Our host greeted us on arrival. The breakfast was delicious, it incuded fruit picked on the day. The appointment and decoration of the house is exceptional.

Beautiful and quiet place, very friendly host, excellent breakfast, tidy and cosy room, spacious bathroom, lovely surroundings, close to many sights (by car) and lovely Melrose.

"Perfect and the host went above and beyond to make our stay a very memorable one"

The house was beautiful as were the grounds it was situated in. The peacefulness, seeing and hearing different wild animals, the best being the deer. The breakfast was amazing, my husband enjoyed the cooked breakfast and I really enjoyed the home made fruit salad and jams.

Nothing it was perfect
