Sajana Ocean Hill

Really lovely location on the beach with a relaxing hammock out front. Good fan to combat the heat. Nice big bed, clean room and mini fridge. We stayed during Tamil new year and the host family very kindly gave us some celebratory sweets

The AC didn’t work so well overnight and we would often be a bit hot. The fan helped a lot though.

Sajana Ocean Hill - is located metres from Mirissa Beach. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and well appointed. The wifi is great and being a family run business ensures each guest is welcomed and provided that little extra personal touch to make sure you have a memorable stay.

It's right by the beach, the location is amazing!

There was a fridge in the room

The staff were rude and very loud, shouting and 'playing' outside The AC did not work so the room was too hot and humid to sleep The shower did not stay on the wall and soaked the entire room The bed was lumpy hard and uncomfortable The so called view is a large building under construction They did not accept card payment and did not tell us this until checking out leaving us short of cash for our transfer

The room was very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The location is great — just a short walk to the beach, and not far from the port where you can catch a whale watching tour. It’s also close to the center of Mirissa, with shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby. The room had a fridge, which was really helpful, and the hammock on the balcony was a lovely surprise. The host was incredibly kind and gave great advice on local fruits. We had a fantastic stay.

At night, you can hear music from the beach bars nearby. It’s not a big deal, but I’d suggest keeping it in mind if you like to go to bed early or are a light sleeper.

It was comfortable

Sajana Ocean hill is located at the quieter end of Marissa beach. We were in the newer corner room and even had a beach view. Everything worked, including a good shower. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in the last three weeks. All the staff were cheerful.

Very spacious rooms with comfortable beds and good air con, the host was a happy helpful young man. My favourite bit was lying on the hammock on the balcony in the breeze.
