It was so cosy and the view with the snow was wonderful. We've booked to come back at Easter.

The continental breakfast was replenished daily and had a good choice of items. The lane it was on was quiet but we did walk into Salhouse which was about 20 mins walk away but had no path so wouldn’t feel safe in the dark. There was a pub, a small garden centre and the train station in salhouse with east access to Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Cromer and sheringham if you didn’t want to drive. The room was clean and well furnished, had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The pups loved it too and we didn’t feel under pressure if they barked as was only the 2 rooms in the part we were in. Very well organised on arrival and very easy to come and go as we pleased without feeling under pressure. Opposite the bed and breakfast was a local pub called the brick kilns and also an Indian called tamarind which was only a 5 minute drive away.

Only negative which wasn’t the hosts fault, was the consideration for parking from the other room. Twice we came back and 2 separate guests had used more than half of the space so it was a squeeze to get our car in!!! I did mention this to the hosts though who did say he would address this but relied on common sense from the guests!!!! Clearly those 2 nights there wasn’t much of it!!!

Nice location, plentiful breakfast and provisions supplied which is a nice touch. Friendly and responsive host. Make sure you back onto the driveway, tricky busy road to pull out onto!

Unfortunately the double mattress in our room we did not find comfortable but this may be personal preference.

For us location was key so it was in the idea location.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property.

Sorry, it's not like the pictures advertised online! Perhaps, after the necessary updates and revamp (walls) by the new owner, it will return to its days of glory! Mirror all marked areas. The bathroom is rusty and needs attention. The double bed mattress should be replaced, as it has slight movement, causing noise, and is not firm enough.
