Anglesea House Inn

An enchanting stay in a beautiful inn. We thoroughly enjoyed our too short stay, great ambiance, conversation and a wonderful host. Breakfast was excellent as well. A 5 star review.

Lovely old Edwardian villa in good condition and run by a very hospitable and helpful lady. Reshma welcomed us on arrival and showed us the two rooms we had booked for our group and offered us refreshments. Everything was clean and in good condition. The garden is lovely and well tended, and we enjoyed some of the fruits of it with our breakfast. Reshma cooked our breakfasts to order and they were generous and delicious. Reshma also organised a lunch booking at one of the busy wineries for us, something that took her some time and effort as everything was busy! Very hospitable.

Was confusing as to which rooms had their own bathroom and which had a shared bathroom. We thought we had organised ‘own bathroom’ but did not.

A true, immaculate "bed and breakfast" in a quaint, gorgeous house

The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the wine region. Reshma has bikes you can use for free or if you want an organised tour there is an operator very close by. Reshma cooked a great breakfast (important to line the stomach before a day of wine tasting!) and she was very helpful with planning cycling routes and recommending winerys to visit. The room was comfortable with a good size bathroom

The room was quite hot, but once we opened the window and got the fan going it was fine

Decor somewhat cluttered

This is a very charming old house updated as a wonderful B and B style accommodation. The surrounding gardens are wonderful. All very comfortable and a home made breakfast was offered.
