This B&B looks just like it does in the pictures. The house and grounds are beautiful and meticulously kept. The owner, Reshma is fantastic and has such an eye for detail in how she decorated the house. We stayed in the Orange Grove room and found it so comfortable, in fact we got our best nights sleep at this B&B during our whole trip. We really enjoyed taking with Reshma and she gave us some very good tips on. what to see while in Renwick and what we should not miss on our way to Kaikoura. Thank you Reshma!! She really made our time special during our stay. Oh, and the breakfast is wonderful also, you won't go hungry, The grounds are beautiful with so many different places to sit and admire the gardens. We highly recommend staying at this B&B, you can 't go wrong.

A charming and welcoming house full of interesting objets d'art. Our twin room was fine if a little cosy and our host made a great breakfast each morning. I would not hesitate to recommend it but go for the double room which is lovely. Altogether a very enjoyable stay.

This is a beautiful property with a beautiful garden and beautiful rooms. Everything is provided for you and our host was lovely.

We’ve had a very mixed experience staying at this BnB as people who have stayed in many BnBs in the past. I booked this for a trip with my daughter and while the property and the gardens are beautiful, the room with the twin beds was too small for us. Even though the size of the room is advertised, due to the amount of furniture in the room, we found it hard to open our suitcases. We were also surprised by the room size given the price. When arriving, we also knew that we were going to have a shared bathroom but be aware that the bathroom is far from the room. We were first informed that we would be sharing this bathroom with just one more guest but found ourselves queuing as the toilet was being used by the whole house as it was close to the common areas and had to queue for the shower in the morning…. We would have rated this establishment higher but had a very unpleasant interaction with the owner when leaving. On our end, we forgot to inform that we would not be having breakfast that morning in the end due to our travel plans but we did let her know that we thought the room was too small for twin beds and the bathroom situation was not ideal in the hallway as walking out in a rush to get to our ferry. We then received a very unpleasant message from the owner blaming us for not reading the size of the room correctly and falsely claiming that we yelled at her at breakfast in front of other guests which is simply untrue as we let her know our feedback while walking out of the house. She then continued to answer our replies in a very aggressive manner which made us quite uncomfortable. The house itself is lovely but the treatment we received afterwards was awful.

Cooked breakfast every morning. On the morning I had to leave quickly,Reshma kindly made me a bacon and egg sandwich to take with me.
