"5 nights in the Al Casa Grande"

The Al Casa Grande is in an ideal location to the town centre, train station, restaurants and ferry out to the beautiful island's, it has a real homely feel.We had a lovely welcoming from Christina who was always on hand to help and make our stay the best it could be.

There isn't anything we disliked.

great location. Spacious room. Everything that you need in kitchen. Amazing host who made sure everything was ok and was there if you needed anything. Kept very clean. Lovely roof terrace to hang out.

I was there in August and room was so hot but you get used to it.

It is a fabulous sanctuary in the middle of Olhão with the most helpful and friendly host. The attention to detail and added home comforts are amazing. It is a perfect place for solo travellers with a friendly safe vibe in the casa. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. There is a well stocked and organised kitchen to use as well as lovely seating areas. It was fabulous- thanks Cris!

"Excellent host and a beautiful property in a great location 5-10 minutes from the market and restaurants."

Cristina is a wonderful host. She greeted me when I arrived and gave me a tour of the property. She tries to make time to do this for most guests. She also recommended the best restaurants and beaches and direction to these. The main market, supermarket, restaurants and ferries are just a 10 minute walk and a large shopping mall is a 15 minute walk. The property was lovely with all amenities, a shared kitchen including washing machine and iron. The room was spacious and all the rooms have their own balcony, there is also a shared balcony next to the kitchen and a roof terrace! So plenty of outside space to enjoy the sunshine. The property was very clean and organised and after my first night the host messaged me to ask if there was anything else I required to make me feel comfortable :) It was a great experience.

My stay was excellent! The property was super clean and tastefully decorated. Christina was an excellent host as well! I arrived late and Christina stayed up for me and gave me an excellent welcome. All throughout her communication was great and she was excellent at recommending restaurants and things to do etc. They also clean the communal bathrooms and kitchen every day so it always feels super fresh. I'd definitely recommend if you're looking to stay in olhao!
