A Sea View B&B

Een super vriendelijke ontvangst door Susan. We wilden graag gebruik maken van de bbq, maar dat was op ons terras niet mogelijk. Niets was teveel, wij konden de bbq van Susan zelf gebruiken, super! Een mooi uitzicht op de Sounds. Romantische inrichting.

Het verblijf ligt relatief dicht bij de weg, wat maakt dat je wat geluidsoverlast kan ervaren.

Das Sea view B&B macht seinem Namen alle Ehre. Das Zimmer mit der kleinen, privaten Veranda bietet einen wunderbaren Blick über den Marlborough Sound. Die liebevolle Gastgeberin war sehr hilfsbereit und das bereitgestellte Frühstück rundum zu unser Zufriedenheit.

Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass das B&B etwas ausserhalb von Picton liegt und es keine Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe gibt.

The view! The hosts were accommodating, but also gave us our privacy. The breakfast was brought over the night before, so when we needed to leave early in the morning, we still had food. We got to borrow the host's double kayak as well, which was amazing. They also gave good recommendations for hikes and things to do downtown.

We stayed for 3 nights in the Bay View apartment. It’s a small space, but practically laid out. Everything is clean and well-maintained, with no signs of deferred maintenance. Due to a delay with the ferry, we arrived late in the dark. That’s why it was nice that we were welcomed by Susan. Susan surprised us for my 70th birthday with a small cake for the two of us (prompted by our daughter). Still, a very thoughtful gesture.

Fantastic location with amazing views. Great breakfast provided each night for us to eat at our leisure the next morning in our room or on the deck. Great communication prior to our arrival with comprehensive instructions

We absolutely loved the view from our room and watched the ferries glide past and the big water view and how fresh and clean the room was! Hosts Sue & Ross were lovely and welcoming and were very mindful of not intruding on our space and supplied a generous breakfast tray eaxh evenibg as they realized we weren't early risers, ha ha. Pretty gardens and very quiet. Highly recommend.
