Room was very nice and large. Room was clean. Breakfast was ok. Pre ordered. others got offer additional items etc but due to lay out in dinning room we were ignored. Even wrote on breakfast slip and was ignore

Parking not explained - never stayed in North Yorkshire didn’t display parking disc correctly as not advised or explained received a parking ticket.

We had a lovely cooked breakfast the room was very clean and we liked the free parking

Price, location, hosts, breakfast

The room was spacious with a lovely big window on the first floor. A double and two single beds even though there was only two of us. Breakfast was freshly cooked, hot and fresh but basic by the standards of other places I have stayed.

Booking.com make it sound like there is onsite parking, this is not the case, it is on street parking with a permit. Probably difficult to get parked anywhere close in peak times. Self check in by way of a code to get in the front door and the room key left on a chair in the hall along with the parking permit. No room service at all during the stay which you don't find out until after you pay. Beds are not made, tea/coffee is not refreshed, toilet rolls were counted and limited, you could ask for more which you would probably be charged for lol. They charge extra if you want more than two cups of tea or coffee per day. There is a sign saying they will not enter your room during your stay. They charge for extra towels if you want them changed more often than every three days. One of the beds had stained sheets which looked very much like dried blood. This was changed as soon as we made the breakfast chef aware of it but was told it was done by a new member of staff and it was probably foundation from the previous occupants! The room was not as clean as other places I have stayed. The location was great for walking into the town centre but we would not stay here again. Lots of other places to choose from in the area.

Lovely B&B in a great location. Parking permit was a bonus. Room was clean with everything you would need. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice. Will stay again when in Whitby.

Breakfast was generally very good, and our bathroom was very nice and a good size.

The room was very small, however that was to be expected, as we had booked a budget room.
