Le Farmhouse Munnar

House was beautifully designed in a gorgeous spice garden. Gabrial was so kind and helpful to us. Would 100 percent recommend.

We really loved our stay at Le Farmhouse in Munnar. The owner, Gabriel, made our stay extremely comfortable, making us delicious breakfasts, drinks and organizing all of our tours and transport for us. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The homestay is situated in a quiet area of the town, surrounded by beautiful nature, but still only 60 rupees into town in a tucktuck We hope to stay again sometime!

Thé Host Gabriel was fantastic. Dont miss going on a hike with him. Hé has a wonderful knowledge of all thé plants and wildlife in the area and the hike we performed with him was absolutely sublime. One of thé best things We've done in Kerala by far. Thé breakfasts were home cooked by his wife and were delicious and varied each morning. A little gem of a place

Gabrial was an exceptional host. I really felt how he sincerely wanted to supply his guests with the best experience. He was very helpful in organising and supporting all of my needs such as laundry, where to buy certain products, bus timetable etc. Every morning I was given a beautifully cooked large breakfast of local Kerala food. The food was delicious and I was offered additional tea and coffee. I was also kindly given a homemade baked treat one afternoon, made by his wife with ingredients out of the garden. Gabrial showed me around his lovely garden, which was full of beautiful flowers, fruits, herbs and spices. He has extensive knowledge of the flora and fauna. He guided me on a long walk, during which he shared all of this knowledge. It was wonderful to experience the walk in this way with the additional understanding of the local wildlife. I particularly enjoyed the hike, despite the misty weather, the ambience and atmosphere was incredible. I loved sharing this time walking peacefully. Gabrial also supplied lunch and delicious afternoon tea and cake. My room was big with a comfortable bed and wifi connection is good for those of you who might rely on it for working online. Despite knowing the rooms are cleaned with integrity, my room was quite dusty, perhaps just a matter of age. I did very much enjoy sitting in the dining area to work from, looking out into the trees and listening to the birds. And had the weather been better, I would have loved to have done yoga on the rooftop. As a female solo traveller I felt safe here and I was also able to walk 20 minutes into town to go to different restaurants, and there are a few closer restaurants about a 10 minute walk away. I liked that it was a little bit out of town with more greenery around me. Thank you Gabrial for all of your hard work, enthusiasm, consideration, kindness and compassion. I'd very happily recommend this as a great place to stay.

Room

Le farmhouse is a wanderful place with a fantastic view on a huge spice garden. Gabrel, the owner, is a incredible host. He is very kind and welcoming, he helped us to organize the tour in munnar and the tour in periyar for the day after. The breakfast is very good, big and delicious. The room is comfortable and very clean.

Very good

The room and accommodation were excellent, and the little nook on the roof with a carrom board, chess board, and books, was an amazing touch. Gabriel was a great host - the breakfast was very nice, he recommended a very good guided morning tour of the nearby mountain range and tea plantations. During this he safeguarded our backpacks until after the checkin time.

The weather. On a serious note, we don't think that there was much to be improved.
