The Newnham White House

We had a warm welcome from Cindy plus tea, cake and scones - much appreciated after a journey and long day! The room was spotless and comfortable; this was during the heatwave but we managed to get a through breeze with all windows open. We were in the area for a wedding so the location and facilities were perfect. Breakfast was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble - Cindy even ironed my husband’s shirt!!

The room had a bath rather than a shower - our oversight; I should have asked, but it’s a very minor detail in what was a splendid stay.

The location was great situated between fields. The views were lovely and so peaceful. The breakfast was fabulous everything you could wish for,cereal,juice,fruit,yogurt x full English cooked breakfast. I have never stayed at such an accommodating place. Throughly enjoyed the stay.

Cindy is a briliant host - friendly, helpful and breakfast was a highlight. Breakfast was beautifully cooked, with amazing coffee in a beautiful setting overlooking a beautiful garden.

No negatives.

Everything about my stay was exceptional, from the time I pulled onto the drive until the time I left. Cindy was very attentive and made you feel as if you were at home. The house was very clean and comfortable to be in. The big fluffy dressing gowns were a lovely touch. I have a large appetite and I found the full English the perfect way to start the day.

Lovely place to stay and lovely hosts - very comfortable room and an excellent breakfast which a variety of food items. The hosts were amazing and it felt like guests in their home but it was a pleasure to be there - they were so welcoming and we would stay again in the future.

Perfect hosts who greeted us on arrival with the offer of tea and scones! The grounds of the White House are extensive and very well tended - al fresco tea is welcomed.
