Francesco greeted and immediately made us feel welcome. Our room was very clean, comfortably warm and secure. Within a few metres from our doorstep, we had access to 2 restaurants and the Modern Art Museum of Bologna.

Very nice owner who made us feel quite welcome in Bologna. Apartment had everything we needed during our stay and when we requested more coffee pods for the machine he provided to us for free which was nice :) Location wise, I found the apartment to be in the perfect spot between the central train station in Bologna and the city centre with around 10 min walk to both places.

Everything about the property was perfect. Starting off with the best host ever Francesco, he welcomed us in the place and from the first seconds made us feel like home. He was very responsive and helpful, giving us the tips on the city and answering our questions. The apartment was very clean and tidy, provided with everything and even more than we needed and expected. It was very well equipped and Francesco made sure if we needed anything more. The location of the apartment is in the centre of Bologna which made it really convenient in exploring the city. We are so happy with our choice and would 100% choose it again. Highly recommended!❤️

The property itself was clean, tidy, and met our expectations in terms of comfort and presentation.

Unfortunately, our experience with the host was less satisfactory. I had confirmed our check-in time with the host a day in advance, but just an hour before arrival, I was informed he wouldn’t be available. Thankfully, his child kindly helped us check in, which we appreciated. During that same exchange, the host mentioned a €10 city tax, which he proposed deducting from unspecified cleaning services — something that had not been mentioned in the listing. When I raised this, he claimed additional charges for "consumables," again not clearly outlined, bringing the total to €10. The overall communication around fees felt unclear and not very transparent. Additionally, in our WhatsApp exchange, the host made an inappropriate comment about not being fond of Brits, which I found offensive and unprofessional. We left the property on time and in the same condition as we found it — I even shared photos to confirm this. However, a few hours later, the host claimed it had rained inside and the floor was wet, which was surprising as the apartment was dry when we left as prooven. This raised further concerns about the overall professionalism of the interaction. While the property itself was lovely, the experience with the host significantly affected our overall impression.
