The Cottage

I loved this accommodation situated in quiet and close to the airport. Staff are welcoming that even makes this place likable lots of parking walking distance from the airport

Cleanliness and coziness

Close to the airport, so was great for location. Especially with an early flight next morning.

Unfortunately there was damp in our room which we didn't notice till leaving, our clothes smelt damp and musty when we were away, which upset us. Also huge pothole on entrance to the cottage, hard to avoid.

The whole house creaks like its put together with sellotape. The walls are the thinnest I've ever experienced. 2 guys were talking (not loud) in the next room all night and I could hear every word they said. Also the parking out the back is abysmal. Arriving late on a wet night you have to plod thru muck and pot holes to get into house. Way overpriced for what's on offer.

Clean and very good location

Beds were comfy but room very squashed. About a 20 min walk to airport which is convenient but the road is very narrow and dark early in the winter mornings with lots of traffic best to take a torch.

There is a transfer service that runs from the back yard that is noisy through the night with car doors slamming, people talking and cars moving in and out all the time through the night so we hardly slept. Would not stay there again. Never encountered staff at all and no response when requesting a quieter room on the app.
