owners are amazing - breakfast was delicious- super friendly and extremely accommodating

This was an excellent Bed and Breakfast! The location, the property itself and the owners were awesome! The breakfast was awesome, with an incredible view of the mountains and nearby towns. The next time that we go to Caiazzo, this will be the only place to stay!

The owners are the friendliest we have ever seen, and the appartement is an expierence. The balcony and the views are really nice, drinks are provided and the breakfast was spectecular and they can also provide vegan or vegetarian breakfast. Also Pepe in Grani is just around the corner.

Casa Aulivo is a beautiful secret. Enchanting and romantic. Perfect for a couple or solo traveller

Beautiful decorated quiet large apartment with lovely terrace overlooking the wonderful valley and hills. Enjoyed the nearby famous Pepe pizza restaurant.

Staying one night in this XVIII century house was a fantastic experience. The house is really nice, an old house but very well maintained, and nicely decorated, plenty of interesting details. Particularly amazing having breakfast (prepared by the owners with a lot of love) in the terrace with gorgeous views over the surrounding landscape, that was worth the visit. The owners are really charming people and treat you with lots of kindness, I wish them the best!

Well, this is not an exclusive problem of Casa Aulivo, rather a problem of Caiazzo....being a village in a hill, you must be ready to climb some stairs to reach this place or any other place in the village, I guess. Actually the house is just a few meters away from the famous restaurant Pepe in Grani (that was the reason for our stay), so anyone booking a table in the restaurant must be ready to go up and down some stairs or steep streets. If you get there by car, you have to leave it in a parking (free) down in the road that surrounds the village, and climb two stretches of stairs. Don't try to reach the house by car, that's impossible. The owner offered to help us with the baggage, anyway, but we did it on our own. Not a big deal, but obviously not good for people with mobility issues or just too lazy. This is NOT a negative note, just a simple warning.

Our hosts’ hospitality was warm and welcoming. Damiano met us in the parking lot in his Fiat 500 to collect our luggage and drive it through the narrow alleys to the inn. The residence is exceptional, both the architecture and the decor. Our ”room” was actually an apartment: bedroom, bathroom, large salon/dining room and a kitchen with a terrace overlooking the mountains. The breakfast menu and serving time was at our choosing. All in a word… perfetto!

We loved everything. Seriously.
