Melvila

Melroy is de eigenaar. Hij probeert je zo goed mogelijk van dienst te zijn, maar soms dringt hij wel aan op een suggestie die hij heeft gedaan. Wat me stoorde aan de eigenaar is dat hij bij het uitchecken aandrong op een goede recensie. Jammer joh Melroy.... die krijg je niet.

Heb je even? De grote van de kamer, waar alleen een bed en een kast stond. Het bed was te kort, te hard en viel bijna uit elkaar. Het matras was veel te dun, daarnaast was er geen laken waar we onder konden liggen. De douche had te weinig waterdruk en geen warm water. Er was geen toiletpapier. Anders dan op Booking.com staat was de WiFi niet gratis, we hebben tegen betaling WiFi gevraagd, maar dat hadden we net zo goed niet kunnen doen want de WiFi werkte meestal niet. De locatie was wei ig aansprekend om iets te eten tevreden koste je al snel een half uur lopen. In de accomodatie was niets te krijgen.

It’s beautiful and open which is hard to find near the city. Comfortable and clean, we all slept so well. Host was great and friendly. Wish we could stay longer

The house was good, the room was well maintained and the owner was quite nice.

The area at night becomes too dark and secluded. A breakfast option or Kettle option (for Tea or Hot water) should be available.

I never stayed there as I reached late night and called them hundreds of times and no one answered. Very disappointing

Great Stay for the Price! Stayed one night at Melvila Resort and had a great experience. The staff was very kind, even allowing a late checkout without any issue. The room was good for the price, with reliable hot water, though the water pressure was a bit low. The bed was slightly old and made some noise, but overall, the stay was comfortable. Will definitely return when visiting Kelaniya Rajamaha Viharaya!

Location was good, nice and quite, plenty nature around with spacious common sitting area.
