Melvila

Very quiet property with super clean and comfortable rooms. There is a great common area on the balcony with sofas and lounge chairs. The owner Melroy is amazing and extremely accommodating, he even drove me to the super market several times. The morning breakfast was divine with traditional Sri Lankan dishes that were out of this world. Excellent WiFi

It's lovely quiet place with a very well welcoming ! The host really caring, good advice ( now i know how to play Karam, traditional game 😁) !! It's clean and comfortable !! "Istouti" for all 😉

I was there on 14 th of september , The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the owner was amazing. He went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kelaniya/Colombo ,clean rooms and good spacing for the price. Moreover quite smooth reservation process, & very friendly service at the desk. Very decent for a short city break. Everything is nice. Therefore I would like to recommend this place for travellers.

Based on my previous stays in other facilities, there is nothing much to like at Melvila.

Breakfast was not available. To buy food outside you have to travel far away. There were cobwebs on the ceiling. Bathroom windows were not cleaned. Only the pillow and bedsheet were there. Neither a quilt nor a blanket was there to cover yourself. No chairs were available inside the room. No facility was provided to at least make a tea inside the room. Had to work on bed. Do not keep the remote controller of the AC machine, even if you do not use it. Because they charged extra money saying that they do not have a way to check whether we have used the AC or not. Rapport with the customer was really really bad.
