The host was very friendly, the room was lovely and spacious and charming. Area perfect for Tongariro crossing and close to Taupo.

The bedroom curtain doesn't block out light but a small thing as I'm overly sensitive to light.

"Excellent stay for those planning to do Tongariro"

- Practically had a mini flat to myself - bedroom, toilet, bathroom and living room - all rooms were pleasant, clean and fairly modern (more so than I expected based on pics) - living room had fridge and various options for making oneself breakfast (including a delicious home made muesli) - friendly and communicative host - easy to self check out in morning (important for those leaving early for the Tongariro crossing) - the property is an extension of a house but you have your own entrance and privacy

- location is a couple mins drive from out of town but you arguably do need a car to enjoy this property (I had one so had a great time)

Location was only about a 4 or 5 min drive to town. Nice and quiet. The place was clean and comfortable. Had continental breakfast included in price

This is a really nice, private space. The breakfast was quite nice. We used this as a base for Tongariro Crossing.
