Its location , avoid Piccadilly Road on Sat Nav. There’s isn’t a shower but there is a bath but awkward to wash your hair without mixer tap

Breakfast was very nice, quiet location and a great place to stay with a quaint pub called the swan just up the road, like stepping back in time when you walk thorough the door. Please do not change the bath it made it for us.

There was nothing to dislike !

It was really comfortable and welcoming. Just what we needed after our long journey. Sandra is a wonderful host making sure we had everything we needed.

There was no lock on the door. Bit uncomfortable not to have a lock.

As you would expect from a very old building, it was full of character. We had a nice welcome from the host, who took us up to our room. The bedroom was lovely, large and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice, with a good selection and plenty of it. The gardens were very nice.

The stairs were a bit rickety and could do with some attention, including a loose floor board, a loose banister rail, and the electric cable across the landing area floor. The tv reception was rubbish, and some of the electrics in the room looked a bit dodgy. The bathroom was okay, but would benefit from a shower.
