The aesthetic wasn’t to our taste

Very comfy bed, coffee maker with enough capsules, very friendly and helpful host.

I oversaw in description that the toilet is outside of apartment and has to be shared with another apartment. That was a bit inconvient.

The location was perfect--close to everything, including fun restaurants, and about 15 minutes from the train station. Large living room and super comfortable bed, very modern shower with great water pressure were all great. Large photograph of Steve Jobs not my idea of great decor, but to each her own!

I am not going to downgrade the apartment because the bathroom was shared and in the hallway. This is probably something I should have noticed when renting. But it did detract from the total experience. That said, the bathroom was spotless and the host provides a robe, which is helpful.

strange shower

two very good nights with a super nice host - a real pleasure in an old town house a bit 'special', special in good way.

Great location with a communicative and gracious host; peaceful, clean room with a truly unique shower; shared entrance and WC (with other guest room) was convenient and always available.

The property was in a great location. Very quiet and relaxing. The host was extremely attentive and helpful and gave us useful information about eating places

Henk was a brilliant host, he made us tea on arrival and gave us lots of advice of what to do in Utrecht. The location was perfect, really close to the main centre. The room was nice and had a kettle and coffee machine, cutlery and crockery. The room had a private shower with a very unique design and double doors onto a patio.

There was very little to not like about this place! Henk made it so great. But just two very small things to highlight would be that the toilet is shared with one other room and is very tiny. Very clean and not far from the room though. And the nearby clock tower rings a lot and all through the night. If you close all of the windows in the room though you can hardly hear them. We didn’t realise the windows were open the first night though so they were quite loud.
