Kerala cottage

Great staff and personal service. Comfortable and peaceful but close enough to walk to the cliff. Aneesh could have been more helpful with recommendations for restaurants or Spas.

We stayed in Kerala Cottage for 10 days in January 2025 and had a very comfortable stay. The property is ideally situated very close to the beach and one can hear the sound of the lashing waves and the chirping of seagulls. Mr Thayoob, the owner, is an excellent host and takes personal care of the comfort of the guests. We greatly enjoyed the daily breakfast, especially the fruit bowl. Mr Nevin, the Manager, is also very helpful and polite. Would love to visit the place again.

Anish and Nevin were simply superb . They were both very thoughtful in trying to anticipate our needs or in anyway enhance our experience of Varkala during our stay. Very big thanks to you both and we hope to be back soon.

I loved everything about this property ! The location is perfectly located, the beach is 30/50 meters away. The breakfast is very good, and eating with a view makes the difference. Restaurants are near by, easy to access once you know your way around. Extremely clean, and I've never been that well taken care off by a staff. Very professional, kind and always with a smile. My girlfriend and I, had the best valentine's week end possible. We recommend, 10/10 experience !

To be honest, it's the first time i find a location perfect. I love it !

The place is beautiful, in front of the ocean in a palm oasis. The cottages are super comfy, and the services are great, supplying you with everything you need and satisfying your request. The staff is particularly great, I was never treated so good during my travels, and this is something that make your stay from being very great to being perfect. Nothing can be improved from this point of view, people there are absolutely great, taking care of literally everything, and really caring about you. I absolutely suggest to come here, and when I'll have the chance to come back to India, I will 100% come to Kerala cottages again.

Absolutely nothing.

Quiet location, lovely beach. Nice veranda to sit outside and the room and bathroom were really spacious and well equipped. The staff there were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Right on the beach and about 35 min walk to the north cliff restaurants and shops.
