I went with my husband to Karachi for a week, and we found this place on Booking.com. Initially, we were slightly reluctant to book Sunset BnB because they required a deposit to secure the reservation. After some consideration and a few messages with Sunset BnB, we decided to proceed with the booking. Once we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Mr Amjad, whose genuine hospitality and engaging conversation made us feel right at home. His kind words set the perfect tone for our visit, leaving a lasting impression on us. When we entered the building and our room, we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and the high level of service. The staff greeted us with warm smiles, took her luggage to our room and showed us great respect. Every member of the team was helpful and always ready to assist us. From the first day to the last, we had no complaints; they were consistently hospitable and treated us with kindness. We had the best breakfast and dinner prepared by Mr Zahid, the chef, and his assistant. The meals were freshly made according to our requests and were ready at the time we specified. We enjoyed fantastic parathas, omelettes, and qeema aloo, among other dishes. Mr Zahid and his team members were very humble and polite. We wished we could take Mr Zahid with us to the UK because of his delicious and amazing cooking! Although there was construction work happening at the neighbouring plot, the staff apologised several times, even though it was beyond their control. Overall, the manners and hospitality of the staff were exceptional.

On the day we arrived at Karachi from the UK, we planned to go straight to Sunset BnB to refresh ourselves instead of heading to our relatives' house. My brother-in-law picked us up from the airport and drove us to the address, but for some reason, we struggled to find it for hours. I called a few times and messaged the location from my brother-in-law's house due to the internet connection, but there was no reply. After searching again for hours, we finally located the place. There was no sign indicating that it was Sunset BnB—just a black gate with two white bars. Later, Mr Amjad explained that they couldn't place a sign outside because it was a residential area. He also mentioned that he had gone for Jummah prayers since it was Friday, which is why we received no response. He eventually replied to my messages and called, but since I was outside and had no internet, I wasn't able to receive any messages from him. Additionally, the number listed on Booking.com was out of service. We would suggest that they replace it with a working mobile number, and if they are away for Jummah prayers, they should have voicemail or at least one staff member available to take calls/messages. After travelling for 17 hours and then searching for this place for hours, we were completely exhausted by the end of the day.
