The Copper Coin

It's very adequate for what you need, it is closed to the airport, the owners are very welcoming, and it is very clean and comfortable. We have used it twice now and would definitely use it again. The only downside is the small carpark, which is a drive way, but we have never had a problem when being there.

The accommodation was excellent. Clean, well equipped. The owner was pleasant, helpful.

Very small village with limited facilities. Pub was nice, but little shop closes at lunchtime and the nearest shop/cash point quite a distance away.

We're reviewing this as backpackers walking the Monarch's Way - it's a great location for this. We stayed one night. The accommodation is built on the side of the owner's house, with its own door (like a garage conversion). The owner was lovely; very kind and helpful. It's self catering, with its own kitchen, good shower room with a great shower, separate toilet and plenty of toiletries etc (we don't carry these) and a good hairdryer. We ate at the Prince of Waterloo pub, a short walk with good food ( a great scotch egg!) and they also do rooms. Breakfast was bread, cereals, fruit juices and a little fresh fruit.

This is more of an issue with Booking dot com, not the owners, and it's an issue I've pointed out before. Booking dot com should state what "Breakfast Included" actually includes - I suggest four categories - 1; Cooked; 2; Continental (this should include meats, cheeses and some salad) 3; Cereal (ie breads, cereals, pastries) and 4; self serve - ie you take your chance get it yourself from whatever the owner has provided, or take your own. As backpackers we always go for the full cooked as there often aren't places to fuel up or buy lunch on the way. In our case, we had a cereal breakfast. The Copper Coin could elevate itself to an excellent establishment by upping its cereal breakfast offer - Some museli or granola type cereal, good quality fresh breads and pastries, nice jams, fresh fruit juices, and perhaps ground coffee and a cafetiere (I'm not asking for Pods!). I hope this comment is taken in kindness, and thanks for a very comfortable bed and loads of hot water!

Very clean, bed comfortable and owners very friendly and gave us helpful advice on taxis.

very nice and cozy place. It's all your space when close the door, a small toilet room and a separate bath room, and a small dinning room with microwave 、refrigerator 、kitten. Bed is comfortable and clean. Warm hearted couple gave lots of help.

The host Cheryl was very helpful in telling us where to park for the Bristol Tattoo Convention.Lovely breakfast items for us to enjoy,we needed nothing during our stay. The pub down the road was brilliant and we enjoyed meeting some friendly locals. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing. A very homely place to stay,and the location was perfect.Would definitely stay again in the future. I loved listening and watching the planes flying overhead too. Thank you so much Cheryl.

Absolutely nothing,everything was perfect

It was a nice comfortable self catering flat. Breakfast was like continental with facilities etc.

You have to be prepared for the overhead aircraft as its under the flypath for landing at Bristol Airport but not heard at night.

Large very clean room with en suite shower and seperate toilet. Private kitchen with plenty of food for breakfast. Pleasant host, would stay again.
