4N Homestay- GOLDEN TEMPLE VIEW

Fantastische Lage mit Blick auf/in den Goldenen Tempel von der Dachterrasse und eine Minute Fußweg zu einem sehr entspannten Eingang in die Tempelanlage. Die Straße ist auch relativ ruhig. Die Zimmer sind vergleichsweise einfach, aber sehr sauber und für den Preis sehr gut! Zudem sind die Gastgeber sehr zuvorkommend, hilfreich und freundlich!

Das alte Haus ist (nachts) recht hellhörig und das Bett etwas hart, aber das sind mit Blick auf Lage, Personal und Preis wirklich minor issues!

Stayed here for 2 nights. The owner was genuinely friendly and helpful, organising our tour and a rickshaw to the train, which made things easy. The view from the rooftop overlooking the Golden Temple is a real highlight. That said, there were a few issues. The mattress was easily the worst we’ve had in 6 months of travelling — honestly felt like the floor might have been softer. We were also caught off guard when the owner got quite upset with us for ordering a non-veg meal. We didn’t realise it wasn’t allowed, as it was only mentioned on a veg menu provided. The room itself was quite small, and there was no water or kettle supplied, which would have been appreciated. Overall, a mixed stay — great hospitality and location, but a few comfort and communication issues that could be improved.

If you’re looking for the closest and most comfortable stay near Harmandir Sahib, this hotel is truly unmatched. The location couldn’t be better—you’re just a short walk from the Golden Temple, making early morning or late-night visits effortless and peaceful. What really sets this place apart, though, are the owners. The gentleman who runs the hotel and his wife are some of the warmest, kindest hosts you’ll ever meet. They go out of their way to make you feel at home, and their hospitality is genuine in every sense. Whether it’s guidance, comfort, or small thoughtful gestures, they’re always ready to help with a smile. The rooms are an ideal size—clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a relaxing stay. Facilities are spot on, offering everything you need without any hassle. It’s the kind of place where you can simply focus on your visit, knowing your accommodation is completely taken care of. There is food available but I did not have this option simply because I wanted to explore. But there were many who did and certainly looked happy. There’s genuinely nowhere better to stay if you’re after peace, convenience, and heartwarming hospitality. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amritsar, especially those wanting a serene stay just steps away from the Harmandir Sahib.

Nothing not to like

I had an excellent stay at 4N. Anoop ji and family are most welcoming and make the stay very comfortable. He helped arrange transfers to & from the homestay, food is amazing, and dream location with rooftop views of the Golden Temple. I hope to return soon!

The room which was allocated to me had very little moving place and i also would recommend the owner to put rubber block to cover the sharp edges of the bed

Très bien situé, calme, propre, eau chaude et bon rapport qualité prix. Et en bonus une jolie vue sur le temple depuis le toit.
