Exceptional stay , owners very accomodating with unexpected extras for breakfast ie fresh cheese scones , pancakes ,etc . Very client friendly and , nothing too much trouble to help if needed ..

Nothing to not like

What a wonderful B&B. The hosts Laura and Michael couldn’t have been more helpful. The breakfast is self help but Laura has gone above and beyond, with having everything you need and more. Delicious homemade warm cheese scones, cereals, drinks, fruits and juices as well. We had yummy shortbread biscuits and fudge in our fridge inside the room as well. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were there for 3 days and disappointed that we were not staying longer. Our best B&B by far and we have stayed in quite a few. Thank you Laura and Michael for making our stay so comfortable and all your information on things to do. We got to see a lot of the beautiful Orkney Islands. Julie and Lindsay

This property is a great location to explore the island of Orkney and also close to ferries for visiting other islands. We had a nice view of Kirkwall staying in Room # 1, ample space for relaxing after a day of exploring.

I received a genuinely warm welcome when I arrived, I had a single room with a private bathroom, the room was large for a single and so was the bed! There was a fridge, with a bottle of water and a pint of fresh milk in the private hallway leading to the bathroom with seating looking out on to the countryside. The room had everything you needed, including the complimentary biscuits and a lovely bar of Orkney Fudge! Everything was spotlessly clean, had a fantastic view over Kirkwall from the bedroom window! The breakfast was self service continental with the offer of warm pastries, I'm not a big eater in the morning so suited me.

Absolutely nothing. It’s superb.

Laura was so welcoming and helpful with recommendations of places to go and things to do. Breakfast was delicious and we really appreciated having tea and coffee facilities in the room, with an extra little snack 😋. The bed was incredibly comfortable and massive, we struggled to get up and go out and see Orkney. We also had a wonderful view of the sea from our window. The room was exceptionally clean, tidy and welcoming after a long day. I will be recommending Laura's to everyone I know who are on their way to Orkney. Thank you for a fantastic stay! Also Orkney is small enough that you can stay in Kirkwalll for your whole trip and explore the whole island easily.
