Mincombe Barn Bed & Breakfast

Incredibly nice bed & breakfast. Martine and her kids were very welcoming and friendly, and they gave us really good recommendations on what to do around. It was in a very peaceful location and we enjoyed seeing all of the animals in the farm. The rooms are very spacious and well taken care of. If you want to relax in a great environment, this is your place.

Everything was beautifully finished and very clean. Homemade cake on arrival and a very good selection for breakfast. The hosts were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble.

Absolutely gorgeous property in a beautiful, rural location. Mincombe Barn B&B has been thoughtfully created with lovely little touches added, such as soaps, soft robes, shortbread biscuits and more. We were absolutely delighted to stay in such a gorgeous place, and for a very reasonable price. Martine, the owner, was very helpful and also provided delicious breakfasts using produce from the farm.

The room we stayed in could either be a double or a twin. We needed a twin and so the double bed was separated to make two singles. Whilst the beds were just about ok in this setup for two nights, they weren’t completely ideal. As a double bed split in two, the singles felt very narrow and I’m not sure they were the size of a standard single (or perhaps they would just better suit children rather than adults). the mattresses were also a bit too firm. However, the latter could be easily remedied with a thicker topper.
