B & B Waalre

Nice B & B, room has own entrance. Excellent large bathroom with both bath and separate shower unit. Fantastic healthy and full breakfast available for a fair price. Not far from supermarket which also has ATM cash facility.

Landlady only takes cash payments. OK, but should be noted in details when booking.

Despite there only being few things to do around the accomodation, Waalre is a pretty place. Just make sure you have snacks and drinks with you, in case the shops around are closed. About an hrs walk to the city of Eindhoven.

Sadly, the room was quite cold. We stayed in late January and had no choice but to warm up the sleeping area with the noisy little fan heater provided. The bathroom was even colder. Our room was situated in the same building as the owners' living space - only separated by a door that we weren't able to lock from our side which left us with a little bit of an uneasy feeling.

Nothing at all

We stayed at this B&B for six days and paid 445 euros but it was a terrible experience. From the start the owner was rude and we had no privacy at all. The worst part was that we were not allowed to use the heater. The owner said it costs her too much money and even took it away from us leaving us cold and uncomfy. She also came into our room without permission. We asked for an iron and she said she’d call before dropping it off (Instead she let herself into our room while we were out) this happened twice!!! It’s not safe or acceptable for a B&B owner to enter a guest’s room without permission. When we tried to talk to her about problems she was never around or available to help. Anyways this place was awful. It’s not safe not comfortable and definitely not worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend staying here even for one night. Stay away from this bloody place!!!!

Very big room and big bathroom. Great place for summer.

you couldn't control the heating in the rooms yourself, it was cold and there was no radiator in the bathroom and it was very cold, access to property was very dangerous. No good for people with physical disabilities.

Great location, beautiful garden.

Very cold room, we had some electrical heater, but you could sleep with the heat on for safety reasons.

Large room and an extra area with single bed

Shower not great. The shower head couldn’t be placed in the holder. No soap/shower dish. Needed upgrade.
