Stanwell Stansted Airport

The room was warm when I arrived at around 11pm which was very welcoming. I had an early departure so it was great to have somewhere nearby the airport to stay that was reasonably priced. Bus to and from the airport is convenient.

Huoneissa ei ollut ne asiat mitä kuvauksesa luvattiin. Huone oli huonossa kunnossa, se on ok, mutta se oli myös epäsiisti ja siitä en tykännyt. Lakanoissa oli jotakin spagetti kastiketta ja ei oltu imuroitu. Laatat lähtivät wcn lattialta, en tiedä johtuiko homeesta vai mistä.

Proximity to airport

Tap on basin in bathroom was wobbly. Shower neeeded to be fixed so it can be overhead not off the wall. Shower leaked. Drainage of shower needed being sorted. No space for putting luggage

Очень много пыли и паутины. Единственное окно над кроватью продувалось, из-за этого было то громко то холодно от ветра.

Room in poor condition lacking basic maintenance. Curtains fixed in place by cable ties and not fit for purpose glass coffee table. The host was pleasant and explained about the shower tray having been broken the day before. He had positioned a bath mat in place but really the shower tray was shattered and the room should arguably have been withdrawn until fixed.

Staff were extremely accommodating and helpful - especially the person on the phone when you check in, and the cleaner. Thank you very much!
