Mangreen Country House

It’s a beautiful old building.

Having to walk up 2 floors because I recently had a hip replacement (maybe I should have mentioned it when booking!) 😂

Tucked away just outside Norwich but easy to get into Norwich by car or park and ride

Room was just a bit to small making getting in and out if the bed less easy - but bed was very comfortable

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mangreen. The house and gardens were beautiful and we were treated with such kindness and warmth. The room was very peaceful and tastefully decorated. There was lots of character throughout the building. Breakfast was delightful - generous and filling. I hope we shall be able to come again.

The pressure of the shower in the room was a little low, but it was a good temperature and I could still wash my hair.

Beautiful accommodation- very well organised and very comfortable stay

Unfortunately we didn’t stay as we were so disappointed

Generally the whole experience was very disappointing.. on our arrival we thought we had got the location wrong and had come to somebody’s home.ie washing hanging in the back yard and scruffy looking gardens.. we were very disappointed to find that it was in fact the hotel.. Inside was very old and shabby so unfortunately we decided not to stay and drove back to London Very disappointing.

Great breakfast and set in beautiful grounds, we had a really lovely stay to attend a wedding in Norwich.

Only minor gripe is that the toilet in our room did not flush properly!
