Baybell Lodge

The lodge is clean, quiet, and roomy. The location is perfect for our visits to Hobbiton and Mt. Maunganui. Brendon and his family are very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the area.

This is not a dislike, just an improvement suggestion. We think it'll be nice to have a washer and a dryer. Even without them, we still think this place is 10 out of 10.

This is a rural location surrounded by an avocado orchard. It was ideal for our young Border Collie who loved playing with Luna, the puppy, in the orchard. It was a quiet and peaceful setting but still only a short trip to Mt Maunganui. The lodge was modern with a good layout for our purposes, and all of the facilities we look for were there. The owners were very friendly and helpful making us feel welcome. We will very likely look to stay again.

We had some hot and humid weather during our stay and a heatpump would have been very welcome.

Outlook into the avo orchard was private and beautiful

The location was nice and quiet and the property itself was so serene. The furniture and decor was very modern and we felt very much at home. The owner was so nice upon arrival and check in was easy.
