Baybell Lodge

Will definitely stay again. Was very clean. Lovely, peaceful surroundings. Supplied breakfast was a nice touch.

Nice hosts, lovely environment and facilities

Location, breakfast (above average), space, facilities, quiet, beds were comfortable, it was warm and my favorite was the fireplace. It's the extra touches that made it for us.

located in a quiet orchard. we stayed one night only, have everything we needed. recommended.

Totally wonderful location and hosts, of the 9 locations we stayed at this was our favourite during our holidays - just perfect for a short stay, host was our of this world helpful and supportive.

Easy communication, finding and access to property good, perfect, location for us. Nice welcoming touches like milk, juice, butter, plunger coffee (gratuities). Great to have avocados from the orchard as well. Peaceful environment, comfortable accommodation, great area for dogs. Really good to be able to bring our two old, disabled dogs with us. Great parking available too. We had our Tauranga children & their partners visiting with us during our stay that was appreciated that could happen without issue.

Found the shower drain was filthy, full of hair, which we removed, so it drained properly. There was a damp musty smell in the bathroom too. Spare m/bedroom blanket is stained. Toaster not toasting efficiently took ages to toast. Initially booked for 3 but advised through Booking.com there would be 4 people. There were only 3 towels. It was a bit awkward having the owner entering the attached garage to the accommodation. Didn't feel complete privacy. Had to ask for dishwasing liquid, rubbish bags and hand soap.

The location is quiet and rural, and yet only 10 minutes from the Crossing, the lodge is clean, tidy, comfortable and has so many well thought out little touches. The surroundings are quiet and green, such a lovely spot!
