El Tio Hostal

La tranquilidad, las vistas, el atardecer.

Esta ubicado en Iluman, a pocos minutos del centro de Otavalo. Es bonito, rodeado de naturaleza. El dueño, José, muy amable, tuvimos una larga conversación sobre las costumbres de la comunidad, aficiones, vida. Fuimos con mi madre, y enseguida se fijo que al ser adulta mayor, le convenia otro tipo de cabaña y nos sugirió una mas cómoda, por casi el mismo precio, eso fue muy amable por que se preocupó por la comodidad de mi madre y de mi hijo. Comida rica, fresquita.

Al principio nos desorientamos, podría mejorar la experiencia con señalética, desde el camino, ya saben con flechitas y esos detalles que tanto ayudan.

I have stayed 2 nights in El Tio and i loved it! The place where the hostal is located and the territory of it is so beautiful, it’s reminded me a lot about the village of my childhood with chickens, garden, wooden walls. Just behind the hostal begins the trails to walk and hike in the Imbabura volcano and the view from there is precious. The owner, Tio, such a nice person. Recommend you a lot to stay there! Gracias el Tio!

Are room was lovely. Country stiled and cozy. The finca is very pretty.
