Solas Surf

Unbelievable setting right in the beach with its own private garden and pool to relax in. The staff were all so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us! The food at Solas was exceptional! Also lots of great bars and restaurants locally and it is only a 15 minute walk into Ahangama too. You can easily relax here but there is also plenty of opportunity for exploring including a trip to Galle and going to see turtles in Delawalla beach. Amazing trip, we would love to come back!

This accommodation is a little slice of heaven on the beach. The host- Catarina and the lovely staff make it feel like a home from home. Comfortable rooms and a 15 minute walk into the main part of town.

There is not much to fault here at all, only personal one for me is the ocean is very loud at night but that would not bother most. Cannot really fault this place.

Solas surf is a very beautiful decorated hotel, in a nice location in Ahangama, close to everything but in a quiet area. The team is super nice and helpful , the dogs very cute, and the food they cook is just delicious. We decided to have dinner there one day , and even though the prices were higher that anywhere else, it was definitely worth it.

It’s a hotel made for sunny days, so if it rains, there is not much you can do. Also, it’s not the best value for money.
