"Incredible Beach Holiday"

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Solas Surf and couldn't have been more impressed with the experience. The location was unbeatable, with easy access to the beach from the property. We spent most of our days lounging on the sandy shore and swimming in the crystal-clear water, and it was so convenient to be able to come and go from the villa as we pleased. The villa is located on Kabalana beach which is the best beach in Ahangama for surfers. But the real highlight of our stay was the kindness and hospitality of the hosts. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and at home. They were always available to answer any questions or offer recommendations for things to do in the area, and their warmth and generosity really made our vacation special. In addition to the great location and friendly hosts, we were also treated to some of the best meals in Srilanka. The hosts went out of their way to prepare meals that were tailored to our tastes, and everything was absolutely delicious. We especially enjoyed the local Srilankan dishes and the fresh fruits and vegetables that were grown locally. Overall, we had an incredible stay at Solas and would highly recommend the place to anyone visiting Srilanka.

"A gem in Ahangama"

A wonderful location, with excellent staff and management with a personal touch. Right on the beach and excellent food offerings. This is a gem in Ahangama.

Not all rooms are beach facing.

We loved our stay, the property is well maintained, the staff were attentive and great. The rooms were fresh and clean. The food was good and the menu had a good mix healthy items and reasonably priced (have to commend the chef). The beachfront garden was nice and we could just chill and enjoy getting into the sea or the pool. These guys seem to know what they are doing and have good facilities such as quality surf boards to rent. The beach in front of the villa is exceptional, soft sand and water nice and clean.

Nothing really to complain about. We went with little expectation and were more than pleased with everything.
