It was a lovely, comfortable room. Alan was a very good host, breakfast was wonderful. And he helped me with my car! A true gent.

Everything was really lovely, location is great and quiet. Room very comfortable. The only tiny detail is the air freshener was a bit overpowering.

"Comfortable and good value for money - just what I was looking for."

Very quiet and peaceful location - 'in the middle of nowhere' down country lanes. Perhaps a bit further from Barnstaple than I had realised. Freshly cooked breakfast was nice. Room was spacious and comfortable. Very good value for money.

Some shelves in the bathroom to put toiletries on would have been useful. I found the wash hand basin a bit small.
