Chancery House

This was quite possibly the best B&B that I have ever experienced. Alan's attention to detail and his care for his customers was exceptional. The room was quite beautifully furnished, it was clean and it was very comfortable. The 'en suite' shower was extremely efficient and clean. The view from the windows was wonderfully far-reaching. The breakfast was fabulous and comprehensive. Alan himself was friendly and welcoming and his provision in response to my special request was perfect. The free parking was extraordinarily convenient. The whole experience was quite incredible Value for Money.

I can truthfully state that I can think of nothing that could have been bettered!

The location was so scenic great escape from the city, room was perfect -comfortable and clean. The host, Alan was very attentive and welcoming, along with fresh exceptional breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay would recommend!!

Nothing against the stay at all-just note you’d have to be very confident in driving country roads, we made sure to make our way back before the sun set because the roads were quite tricky.

Breakfast was great, just what I needed. The room is cozy and has a nice hot water shower. The staff were very helpful. It was a frosty morning when I left, and they cleared the frost from my car, so it was safe to drive, and they kindly provided directions for my next stop.

I lost my way, but that was my fault, a lack of sat Nav skills!

I came here after a full day's cycling and was met by a warm and welcoming Alan who made sure I was well fed and looked after. The breakfast in the morning was spot on, with an overall comfy room and a fantastic view over Exmoor. Great little homestay in great company ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Alan was very helpful in getting our soaked motorbike gear dry after the pouring. Food is also excellent.

The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Also free parking and a lovely location.
