Dale View bed & breakfast

In a quieter part of the Lake District, Dale View has easy access to the sea. The cottage is cosy, albeit a little bit faded, but the host was generous in offerings from cotton buds to all sorts of teas and chocolate. The breakfast was delicious!

The nearest pub is about a 10-minute drive away and closes early as it's a pretty remote area. The flush is on a pump system and sometimes requires multiple flushes to be totally clear, but it's not anything detrimental, just something one who's used to modern conveniences might be surprised to find.

Cosy place. Friendly, facilities.and provisions excellent. Good location. Good breakfast

Nothing to complain about.

Jo was an excellent host who welcomed us warmly, cooking a fresh breakfast each morning that set us up for the day. Room was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. No faults to comment on! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your B&B :)

No bad thing to say

Breakfast was great, there were little extras in your room, like toothbrush, razor, iron and board. Nothing was too much trouble 🙂 lots of tea and coffee, and a comfy bed.

The breakfast was excellent, location was very picturesque, a comfortable bed.

The decor is tired and the room was quite dusty
