"Lovely getaway!"

Lee is a wonderful host who has tons of local knowledge and is very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was fantastic! I miss it already!

I enjoyed the breakfast. You could order ‘full English’ or smaller versions such as egg on toast, or choose combinations of several items - Lee was happy to oblige. The dining room was cosy and friendly, and well-arranged for guests to help themselves to orange juice, cereals, good coffee (tea was freshly made & served), homemade marmalade - plus a mini fridge with little glass pots of fruit/yoghurt or similar which I didn’t sample.

To be honest, the bed was a bit soft for us. Also, if we had stayed longer than 3 nights, so needing more clothes, we would have needed more coat hangers in the wardrobe but I’m sure these would have been provided if we’d asked.

Breakfast was excellent but portion size was a little small compared to other full English breakfast I have had

Tv in room was small and remote was pretty unresponsive when trying to navigate channels

This is a wonderful guesthouse... beautifully kept with amazing victorian furniture. Lee is amazing and funny. The whole place is spotless and fab breakfast. 100% recommend.
