At Loum

The apartment doesn't feel like a holiday let, it's attention to detail makes it feel very homely. The bed was very comfy and all necessities are there! As it's only a 2 minute walk to the cheese market, it's right where everything is and happens! We loved the stay and Annemarie and Chris are wonderful hosts!

Door leading out on to roof very awkward to close properly.

The hosts were super helpful and accommodating The accommodation was very lovely decor and cozy and felt homely and had most things that you would need

The location although was not too far from the station and close to the centre, it was a bit noisy in the evening with the bar downstairs, other than that it was good

The location, the flat, the terrace, the hosts, the flexibility, the friendliness, the welcome...all of it, from the moment we booked until we left..it could not have been better. A truly special place with the friendliest of hosts. Thank you SO much for making our stay so special.

The place is so warm and cozy, full of plants and located in one of the best streets in alkmaar! Honestly i didn't expect this stay to be THIS GOOD and I'll definitely be back! Highly recommend :)

Might be a little cold at night, the owner said he is working on it.

A lovely place in the heart of the old city within easy walking reach of the trains and buses. Cosy, clean, comfortable and with the advantage of a superb place to eat downstairs. Sitting on the roof terrace listening to the bells is just bliss.
