Lovely hosts

Our hosts Ken & Kathy are lovely people and made us feel very welcome. They gave us both bedrooms to use so we were able to use one for luggage and the other for ourselves. They also allowed us use of their kitchen, so that we could cook dinner for ourselves, which was very much appreciated. Ken also gave us some useful tips for sight seeing in the area, and they went out of there way to make us feel at home.

This is the first time we have been in a B&B where the guests and the hosts living space is the same. Usually the guests are in one part of the house and the owners in another. That is not the case here, as the two bedrooms and bathroom (which is our own to use but not ensuite) are down a short hallway from the living room and kitchen., with do door or even curtain to close the space off. We were also expecting to be 'served breakfast' (as it says in the listing) that was not the case, Kathy explained where everything was and we had to make our own breakfast from the supplies in the fridge. We put a brave face on it,, but we always look forward to being served breakfast whenever we have paid for a B&B, not sure if this was just a one off occurrence but it did not sit well with us.

Das Haus ist super ausgestattet. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wie haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt.

Beautiful property overlooking the golf course and the surrounding countryside. The beds weee so comfortable and everything was spotless. The instructions were clear and great tips about the surrounding areas. The hot springs across the road were great too! Thanks Ken and Kathy
