Manel Villa

The location is absolutely amazing, quasi private beach just in front of the hotel. Nice garden and good food. Friendly staff.

Room was clean but had a bit of a mouldy smell. The dogs of the house followed us everywhere which was a bit annoying, especially when walking on the beach and meeting other dogs that got aggressive.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, and there's a beautiful beach just 50 meters from the villa. We saw wild monkeys in the trees outside the terrace several times. The host also organized an incredible riverboat safari for us. Excellent value for money.

Harshan is an absolute gentleman. He helped me to get a broken phone fixed quickly and cheaply and was only too happy to show us where to go for good food, and quality sarongs and souvenirs of our trip. The accommodation is good too and the icing in the cake is the private beach area at the back. Would definitely use again if I travel to Sri Lanka. Oh, forget to mention the world's friendliest dogs Dora and Tony :-)

The owner Harsha is very knowledgeable and welcoming, while we were treated incredibly well by Dilsha. It's 100m from the beach down a lovely path to their sunbeds, and the beach itself is picture perfect and practically empty
