Sea Port Hiriketiya

The staff were very helpful and went above and beyond with all our requests during the stay. They were particularly flexible when we needed to check in late. We also asked for extra towels when going to the beach which was supplied quickly. The location is brilliant and a quick crossing of the road takes you to the cove. The air con worked well. Overall it seemed clean. They also supplied two bottles of bottled water which was appreciated. We also enjoyed having the balcony area to enjoy the views and relax.

It is a guest house so was basic. The bed was creaky but fairly comfortable. No tea/coffee making facilities although it seemed there was a communal kettle outside which we didn't use, and couldn't see any mugs. The main issues were the locks. The main door locked on the inside with two very stiff bolted locks and we really struggled to lock and unlock these. From the outside it was just a padlock to secure the room. The bathroom had a bar of soap and a single generic bottle of something - would have been nice to have some separate shampoo/body wash. Also there was a towel each, would've appreciated a smaller hand/face towel as well.

Amazing location, lovely staff and clean and nice rooms. Will definitely be back.

Everything. Location, cleanliness, beds and space, the view, all is stunning.

The only thing missing would be things like a bedside table next to the beds, or a tv, but these aren't big deals at all. There's plenty of surfers to watch!!

Amazing location, right on the beach. Spacious, clean room with fabulous balcony. The couple who run this place are so lovely! Definitely recommend a stay here.

This is the perfect location - the beach is right on your doorstep. We loved being able to duck to and from the beach to our accommodation. Very close to an atm and to plenty of restaurants. The hosts were really accommodating with our rental tuktuk as well which we really appreciated. The hosts also text me to let me know that I’d left a few items behind which was very considerate!

Mosquito nets didn’t touch the ground meaning they could fly in. Location on the main road was a bit noisy but this is expected given the great location. Everything else was perfect!
