We stayed in the Green Edge for 3 nights and we used as a base to visit Sigiriya, Pidiurangala and Polonaruwa.. It is very close to Dambulla but still very quiet. The environment was very relaxing and the staff so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very good. Highly recommended.

Lovely, calm, quiet location, just a few minutes tuk tuk journey from the centre of Dambulla. The owner Sri was extremely helpful arranging trips to the caves, Sigiriya , and Pollonowora and dropped us off at the correct bus stop for our onward journey to Trincomalee . Highly recommended, 100% the best place we have stayed in Sri Lanka. A lovely veranda to sit out and chill. Lovely, clean room, comfy bed, lovely bed linen . Fridge in the room and got air-conditioning.

Everything was first class.

Se proprio devo dire qualcosa è posizione non proprio centralissima ma con un tuktuk si raggiunge il centro in 5 minuti

Green Edgeを拠点にして、**シギリヤ**など周辺の都市を観光することをおすすめします。 午前中は観光地で過ごし、午後はGreen Edgeの庭でのんびりと贅沢な時間を楽しめます。 休憩中にはSriさんが紅茶を提供してくれました。彼は自ら**キャンディ**まで紅茶を買い付けに行っているそうです。キャンディの紅茶博物館で飲んだ紅茶よりも美味しく、印象に残りました。 庭はガーデンキーパーの方がとても丁寧に手入れしています。毎朝花を摘んで庭を飾っているようで、庭を常に素晴らしい状態に保とうとする姿勢に心を打たれました。 Green Edgeでのハイライトは、朝食と夕食でしょう。 朝食のジャムはホームメイドで、マンゴーの自然な甘みをしっかり感じられます。 夕食のカレーに添えられるお米はハーブと一緒に炊かれており、香りがとても良いです。夕食はオプションですが、強くおすすめします。 **Heritance Kandalamaへはトゥクトゥクで20分ほど。カフェを利用しながら、ジェフリー・バワ**の建築を楽しむことができます。 また、Green Edge周辺を徒歩で散策するのもおすすめです。野生の孔雀やイグアナ、珍しい鳥に出会えることもあり、自然を存分に満喫できます。近所の方々が気持ちよく挨拶してくれるのも印象的でした。
