We had a lovely stay at Dove b and b - beautiful surrounding countryside and a lovely patio area outside of the our accommodation - perfect stay!

Absolutely blown away — hands down the best accommodation experience we’ve ever had. We stayed Wednesday night for my a birthday before heading to Alton Towers, and honestly, this place has completely reset our expectations. We’ve stayed in high-end hotels, including a two-storey junior suite on Westminster Bridge, but this… this was something else. Every single detail has been thought about. From the essentials you’d expect (ironing board, everything stocked properly, even down to sugar cubes) to the things you don’t realise matter until you experience them — the fresh, beautiful Fairy Infused bedding, the overall cleanliness, the feeling that someone genuinely cares about your stay... But what truly sets it apart is the atmosphere. Waking up to peaceful countryside views with sheep right outside the window was just unreal. Quiet, calming, and exactly what you want when escaping for a special occasion. It felt private, cosy, and properly relaxing — not just somewhere to sleep. The surroundings are stunning, the standard is exceptional, and the whole experience just felt effortless. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay near Alton Towers — stop searching and book this. You will not be disappointed. Genuinely a 10/10… if not higher. We’ll 100% be back.

Where to start…. Great location, absolutely beautiful accommodation and John & Myfanwy are the sweetest hosts you could ever hope for. Second stay here and will absolutely not be the last

The place was spotless and with a great view. The hosts were amazing and very friendly. Couldn’t thank them enough when they brought a cake for my sons birthday. I will recommend everywhere.
