The service was exceptional. Food and wine, incredible. Interior design was stunning. I would come back in a heartbeat. Lovely lounges to sit and read all the lovely books. Staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful.

The restored building was very attractive and the room was lovely with a beautiful view. Great location. Short stroll to the central piazza where you can get a decent cup of coffee.

The restaurant staff were rather dozy, failed to deliver the drinks we ordered. The menu was uninspiring (hamburger?). The tables were small and the chairs uncomfortable and the terrace with its gravel meant the tables were tilting. Worst of all was breakfast, with insufficient tables outside for all guests, a coffee machine, fruit salad that had seen better days and an appalling smell wafting up from the bins below on rubbish collection day. It was utterly stomach churning. While the rooms were charming, the restaurant was not.

Beyond expectation. So good we extended out with an additional 5 nights!

Only thing I can think of is that the hairdryer didn’t have e a ‘cold’ button - I know first world issue!

Hotel was located in the picturesque small village of Panicale. Central location and very walkable to nearby restaurants and cafes. We were upgraded to a very nice 1-bedroom apartment due to an issue with the hotel room we had booked. They greeted us with a complimentary welcome drink (we chose Prosecco). The staff provided excellent service our entire stay and we loved our comfortable accommodations. Breakfast was very tasty in the lovely garden with many savory and sweet options to choose from. The best scrambled eggs we had in Italy, cooked to order. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Panicale. The best accommodations in the area. Highly recommend.
