Rastrello

The location of Rastrello was perfect for exploring the Umbrian countryside. The town in which is is located, Panicale, has several nice restaurants. The property is beautifully decorated and made one feel very comfortable. The facility was very well kept and clean. The rooms were air conditioned and the beds were wonderful. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with many nice dishes to choose from. The restaurant also offers a marvelous dinner. The bast part of Rastrello is the amazing, friendly and helpful staff that work there. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating.

We liked everything about this property and this town. This was a wonderful stop in our weeks long vacation because of the location and the area and the fact that the property just oozed graceful luxury and comfort. The entire property gave us many options as to where to sit and relax and feel 'at home' from breakfast in the courtyard to reading in the lounge or on the balcony. However, what we liked most of all was the staff. They were so welcoming and helpful with ideas and suggestions. They acclimated us to the area and the sweet walled town of Panicale. We learned of a nearby hike just out of the city walls overlooking the Umbrian valley, a wonderful lunch place in the countryside that attracts locals and is known for its truffles and so many other places to explore. When traveling, it's always so wonderful to find such a beautiful place to stop and catch your breath for a few days. Next time we will stay even longer!

Great boutique hotel & lovely stuff

Incredibly impressed with absolutely everything - from the impeccable decor, super friendly, courteous and helpful staff with local knowledge, delicious food, beautiful views, excellent service and thoughtful extras. We really cannot fault this place and will happily come back!

rooms are a bit too small

Gorgeous, stylish design and décor inside a newly renovated building right in the historic part of Panicale. The rooms and facilities were warm and welcoming just like all of the staff, who went above and beyond to help in any way they could. Aperitivi in the beautiful courtyard overlooking the lake in the evening with other locals was relaxing and a must. There's a selection of bars and tasty restaurants only a minute walk in the main piazza of the town, but the Hotel restaurant is equally fantastic and unique on it's own. The breakfast every morning was delicious and a great start before heading out and exploring all the nearby sights. Overall a fantastic and memorable stay, thanks to Chiara and the whole team. We will certainly be back.
