I don’t know where to start, my impression is that this place should be closed since it is not suitable for a proper stay. Windows do not mitigate the loud noise from the square right beneath it (the music was cur at around 1:15 am), air conditioning didn’t work (i asked the owner for help, no response received and i has to go vack to booking to talk to whoever answered me, without a helpful message since it did never work) there were cocroaches and ants in the tiny and questionably clean bathroom (there were leftovers from the previous user in the shower), the matress is shapeless and you can feel the springs on your back. The floor was dirty, our feet made the bed lining black and full of sand after coming out of the shower and walking barefoot inside the room.

Checking out of this toilet. The cleaner was lovely and tried to help but DO NOT STAY HERE!

Disgusting treatment from reception from the day of check in. NO COMMUNICATION! Called reception number repeatedly. When they finally answered was yelled and sworn at and hung up on. Gained entry from the cleaner who gave me set of keys. I was essentially locked out for the first 24 hours as 2 of the 3 keys given did not work on any of the doors. To gain entry had to wait for residents of the building to randomly come and go. Received a message over 24 hrs after checking in with the door codes to access building. There is no wifi yet advertised there is. Essential for a tourist in my situation. Told by the cleaner on checking in on a monday wifi would be fixed tomorrow. After advising reception via booking.com that their advice on how to enter the building would have been much handier the day of check in and politely asking when the wifi would be up again they replied " It will be fixed Saturday, if you don't like it go to another hotel" This lovely communication only ever came via messages. Over 3 days and nights not once did i see reception desk actually attended by staff. The air con unit was much too small and the cheapest brand available. Insufficient to cool the room at all. The bathroom, accessed through communal area, was abysmal. COCKROACHES crawling out through cracks in tiles. The light bulb was also out so needed to carry phone or torch in. I am recovering from broken leg and clearly not very mobile. Asked the cleaner where spare bulbs were she called reception in front of me advising this needed replacement. The light was not replaced over 3 nights so almost broke leg again everytime had to use toilet. The view of the temple advertised is almost completely obscured by a tree. Photo is BS! There is no soundproofing and this is not a part of the island you want to hear sounds of the street anytime after midnight. I stayed on Ortigia for 11 days in 8 hotels. The staff at every other hotel were lovely. Gave them all positive reviews.

Tutto. Tutte le zone della casa e del bagno SOPRATUTTO erano indecenti, al limite del legale. quando abbiamo fatto presente al titolare che i bagni erano sporchi siamo stati ignorati e sinceramente toglierei la scritta breakfast perché non esiste la colazione

Mi é piaciuta la posizione

L’ingresso, il sistema per entrare, rubinetti della sala da bagno rotti, la serratura datata non permetteva un facile accesso.

Ottima posizione a due passi da tutto

Assolutamente le porte che non si chiudono, in particolare quella del bagno che essendo fuori dalla stanza è un problema. Finestre non insonorizzate, e stando sopra i locali non è facile prendere sonno.
