Stunning scenery and very comfortable accommodation. The breakfast Jill provides is the best we've had in New Zealand. The gardens and private waterfall are exceptional.

Very well presented accommodation in all respects. Excellent breakfast. Quiet scenic location.

A fuller description of how to find the property which was about 25 klm outside Te Kuiti. I wasted about 1hr trying to find it!

"A garden oasis in King Country hilly farmland. Make it at least a 2 day stay."

Lovely little cottage with fully equipped kitchen for supplied bacon and eggs with muesli/bran/yoghurt/fruit/toast/fudge etc. Gorgeous rolling gardens with ponds, bridges, seats, pathways and viewpoints. Allow 45min each way for the walk up to the secret waterfall( well worthwhile). Jill is friendly , helpful and hardworking.

My leg disappearing between two boulders when I was jumping down (off-track) in the bush area just above the falls. Luckily injury was mostly to pride.

It’s set in the most beautiful garden and is really well equipped and immaculately clean. Host was very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Breakfast and cakes much appreciated. Walk to waterfall was well signed and well worth the walk. Didn’t want to leave ! Very good value for money.
