Hurst Hill

Awesome location, wonderful building with original period features. My room had fantastic views of garden and fields. Brilliant breakfast with farm bacon and sausages and home baked bread. Guy the host is friendly and great to chat with. Guy does lovely dinners on request and serves them in the dining room. Winston the dog is lovely. Quiet lovely location. About 20 mins or so walk from lovely Sun inn pub. Looking forward to staying again. Thanks Guy, for the lovely stay.

Beautiful old property in the heart of countryside. Guy is a great host. Went out of his way to accommodate vegan guests.

We liked it all. A warning about low beams might be an addition

The host Guy was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. The homemade bread for breakfast was delicious. The room was cosy and nicely decorated and really quaint. It kept a traditional feel with modern features. It was in a lovely area.

It was a bit off the beaten track with a bumpy road with pot holes but we were warned about that. It was a good location for the wedding we went to. The shower was missing a tile and the toiletries in the shower were a mismatched collection of half empty bottles.

Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. All produce is locally sourced and the owner makes homemade bread every day

Visitors need to be mindful that some double beds are actually very small. The property has lots of character but for some taller people it may be a little harder to move around freely.
