Four Seasons House - Affordable&Quiet Stay in Donegal

Breakfast was self service and location suited us perfectly.

Maybe a better sign at entrance.

Clean spacious good facilities warm comfortable beds. Staff very friendly and everything brand new. Inside of house is amazing.

Location abit off beaten track but Google earth and locals were great. Outside of property needs work but owner knows that and is work in progress. Is an air b&b so no cooked breakfast unless you cook it yourself.

I got this place close to Glenveagh National Park just to sleep one night. It was easy enough to find the place using my navigator. The room was comfortable and the toilet was recent renovated. The house is not finished yet but inside was ok for the price we paid. Bernard was a very good host and he was very helpful.

The owner Bernard is a friendly, knowledgeable, helpful local guy, who gave me useful information about places to visit in the area. Bernard and his wife live in the basement floor of the house. Sometimes they rent the top 2 floors. The house is located on a small country road, so it is worth checking on Google Earth how to get there. From Milford, I headed towards Carrigart, and after crossing the small bridge at the South end of Mulroy Bay, I turned left onto the Bunlin Way. It is a small road, which is sometimes only wide enough for one car, so best to drive slowly and make use of the numerous passing spots along the road. There is a sign for Four Seasons House on the right side at a junction after a few miles, and another similar sign on the right at another junction about a kilometre up that road, Four Seasons House is then the first house on the left. The driveway to the house is gravel. The land it sits on is a work in progress, but the inside of the house seems fully functional. My understanding is that breakfast is not included with the room, but a small amount of basic cereals and porridge and milk, bread, tea or coffee. were available in the kitchen. I made myself porridge in the kitchen using the microwave using porridge I had brought with me.. It is advisable to bring your own food. The room was large with an ensuite bathroom with shower sink and toilet. It had a double bed and a single bed. Everything was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and the place is quiet, so I slept well. The room is on the ground floor. Also on the ground floor was a TV room and a room with a pool table. There was free wifi provided. I only stayed 2 nights so didn't spend much time in the house. I was visiting the area for watersports so mainly just needed a comfortable place to stay as a base, and it was in a good location for that.

I'd like a shelf in the shower to put shower gel on.
