B&B Downham Hall

Fabulous room, beautifully decorated and a terrific view. The garden was lovely and the staff were excellent.

If you want a little bit of luxury and complete silence then this is the place for you. The setting is beautiful, the building is magnificent, the staff are so friendly and the food is amazing. It does come up on Google as a B&B although it is open for dinner some nights. But there's plenty of pubs nearby. Its dog friendly as well. The room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. We will be returning thats for sure.

I can't think of one thing i didn't like

Quiet, tranquil setting and super friendly staff. Extremely comfortable.

The location was really lovely, the staff was amazing and helpful. We checked in later than expected due to having issues on the road but the staff was very understanding and helpful! The breakfast was fabulous and so was the bed!

The only small issue was the sound coming from the plumbing which was a bit disturbing, but didn't prevent us from sleeping.

Luxurious stay in a beautiful historic building. Lovely quiet and relaxing, the perfect getaway.
