lock in room not working so closed door and could not get out again..tried calling reception but goes straight to engaged ii did this even before i arrived but same engaged. I banged on door shouting i'm locked in. Luckily another tenant heard me so passed key under door and she was able to open the door..had to keep door ajar all night so wouldn't get ;locked in again,,no sign of landlady. Same in morning..just a note saying call another number..left key on side table when i checked no staff to check out.

no staff..health and safety due to being locked in room.

I made a last minute booking and they let me check in early as I requested, really friendly & chatty staff made me feel really welcome.

I stayed at the White Moon last year, in the same room, when it was under different management. The new management have made some noticeable improvements. I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful young lady who carried my bag upstairs, which I really appreciated. The room was much cleaner than last year. The drinks supplies were more generous. The WiFi was much better, in fact it was very good, even though I was on the top floor. I sneaked a look at the double room next door, which was unoccupied, and it looked really nice.

The mattress was not the best, though not the worst either. The bathroom had a folding door that was almost impossible to close, so I was worried about the smoke alarm going off when I had a shower, though thankfully it didn't.
